Peonies for Spring

One of my all-time favorite flowers are Peonies and as soon as I saw this maxi dress from Lulus.com I had to have it!! My favorite thing about this dress is that it has a big floral print so you can actually see the peonies and that it is scattered throughout. Maxi dresses are the perfect and easiest piece for transitioning into Spring. They are also so perfect for going out with your girls, a date night, a birthday party, Church, or almost every occasion! What I also love about maxis, is that you can dress them up or down; with a jean jacket, loose sweater (perfect for an evening on the beach), or a cardigan and heels (for church or for a more formal look).

As Easter approaches this makes the perfect dress! Since my Church (National Community Church) is casual, it will be easy to throw on a jean jacket and some sandals. On Easter Sunday after church, my family usually celebrates with a potluck get together at my aunt’s house and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! But this year we are taking things easy by getting lunch at a restaurant after church then relaxing at home after. My senior year in college was probably one of my favorite Easters because I spent it with some of my favorite girlfriends! We got to fellowship and encourage each other during this sweet time, and of course got to enjoy some great food we made together (in college a home cooked meal meant everything, ya know? haha). What is one of your favorite Easters? I would love to know!! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter filled with fellowship, love, and joy!!

Happy Easter and Happy Shopping!! ♥
